The new dimension of supply chain assessment
Holistic risk management for your suppliers
In a globalized world, it’s not just the price that determines the success of a supply relationship – it’s the people behind it. With the Value Chain Analysis from ComSIT gives you a decisive competitive advantage: we combine classic key figures with psychological in-depth analysis – for holistic risk management of your suppliers.
Methodology
The quality of supply chains depends not only on rational and tangible factors, but is also closely linked to the people behind a company. While logistical considerations, customs regulations or raw material prices can be calculated relatively well and integrated into the risk analysis as fundamental data, character and subjective assessments of a supply partner require completely different methods to evaluate risks and minimize dangers.
The Value Chain Analysis System from ComSIT uses innovative methods and state-of-the-art technologies to understand precisely those aspects of suppliers and partners that were previously difficult to assess. Because behind every manager is a person with unique characteristics – characteristics that can significantly influence business decisions and have a beneficial or detrimental effect.
Through comprehensive data collection and evaluation, we identify potential breaking points in the personality of a decision-maker. These subjective aspects complement the objective risk factors and are systematically incorporated into the overall assessment of a supplier.
HOW DOES THE VALUE CHAIN ANALYSIS WORK?
Creating measurable added value
Our analysis begins – in collaboration with internal supply chain specialists – with the collection of all relevant fundamental data. The next step is a detailed classification of the business partners using defined attributes based on anthropological and sociometric characteristics. The final step is a detailed validation, the results of which are prepared in a structured manner in a holistic analysis and made available to the customer.
The result – consisting of two data strands, each with its own significance – puts you in a position to identify risks at an early stage and manage them in a targeted manner. The approach practiced by ComSIT is unique in its form and creates a new dimension of risk assessment in global supply chains. State-of-the-art technologies, sound data collection and in-depth evaluations provide a precise picture of potential risks – before they become reality.
